Finished! This was my demo painting for the workshop at the library last week. I just added it to the exhibit today to replace a painting that sold. Thanks to everyone who attended the artist talk and workshop. And thanks to the staff at the library for putting it all together and hosting artwork in their beautiful display area. I hope to teach more workshops in the future. Send me an email if you’d like to be notified of future events.

I recently started teaching classes at the Insight Fine Art Studio in Skokie. I’m having a great time with it! The studio is lovely, filled with creative vibes. Mary, the owner, is wonderful.┬áCheck it out.

Lately when I’m painting I think about prismatic, colored light. I don’t see rainbows very often, but daily I see light bending and bouncing off every surface. I see how sunlight cools at the zenith of the sky and warms at the horizon.

My paintings, including the two above, are hanging in the beautiful display space at the Glenview Public Library until May 15. Join me at the library for my artist talk on April 4 at 6:15, followed by a painting workshop from 7 to 8:30. Register for the workshop here at the library website.
