Here’s the finished piece. The white flowers are anemone, also known as windflower. According to the Oxford English DictionaryGreek anemōnē means “daughter of the wind”. This painting was inspired by a trip to the Chicago Botanic Garden. Working on it really brought me back to that space, in that spectacular sunlight.

It will be over in the etsy shop shortly – click on the painting to check it out there.
