An Oil Painting of Wild Cranesbill

Posted on Updated on

6 by 6 inches, oil on gessoed hardboard

I painted this while Holly was in preschool this morning. We planted these cranesbill in our last garden. The leaves and flowers are delicate and beautiful, but I think the plants got too much sun. I’m editing this post to correct the flower name!

Holly had a great time making play dough cakes for her teacher and friends.
