Gallery Park Redux

Posted on Updated on

8 by 10 inches, oil on gessoed hardboard

The photo is fuzzy and noisy, but I’m happy with how the painting turned out. Trying this same picture a second time, I felt liberty to pick and choose details. I especially like how the houses are vague and pushed into the distance. I started with a black background so I could scratch out some twigs and branches at the end. That forced me to get the paint on a little thicker, too.

Available – $140
